High Voltage Switching Course
This is a Nationally Recognised course which has been written to meet the requirements of the latest training packages; UET – Transmission, Distribution and Rail Sector Training Package and UEP – Generation Sector Training Package.
This course delivers in depth training on how to safely perform duties of a High Voltage Switching Operator. We cover the legislation, theory and practical aspect of high voltage switching.

Duration and Mode of Delivery:
Full course delivered over 3 days either face to face or live web.
Refresher course delivered over 2 days either face to face or live web.
Students will complete a switching sheet, access permit, theory assessment, and undertake switching in a simulated environment on actual equipment or SCADA schematic for live web.
With 60% theory and 40% practical, the face to face course offered at all of our training facilities, live web and on site upon request.
