CEC Endorsement Battery Storage
(4 Day - SouthWest Tafe)

This 4 day Battery Storage course (by SWTAFE) provides training for electricians to gain the required skills to install Grid Connected PV battery storage systems. Successful completion of the course meets the Clean Energy Council (CEC) UEE11 Accreditation pathway (UEERE4001) and will entitle licensed electricians to apply for the battery install storage endorsement to be attached to their Design and or Install of Grid Connected PV Systems. The successful student will also complete their VARTA Pulse Battery Storage Certification as part of this course. (Entitles the successful student to purchase and install VARTA Pulse Storage units)

CEC Professional Development points are available for the Battery Storage course = 60 pts. CEC Professional Development points are available for the VARTA Pulse Certification course = 50 pts.

The Course is delivered through face to face practical/theory workshops as well as an online theory component. Competency is granted when all components of the course have been completed satisfactorily and your current competency in the area are recognised. A Grade License and Industry Experience and existing CEC Grid Connected Solar Accreditation.

Training Durations:
4 days split over 2 weeks, 2 days and 2 days

Students must attend all workshops

The online component is completed prior to face to face practical workshops. The workshops will be conducted over 2 sessions of 2 days duration (4 days in total) The 2 sessions will be a minimum of a week apart (maybe longer depending on time tabling). Participants will therefore not be 'off the job' for large blocks of time.
